At present, Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) is actively devoting into the work of charities and social services. These projects covers a wide range, such as the medical service for the elders without family, anti-alcoholism and anti-drugs, child aid for orphans and the disable, anti-abortion, anti-unemployment, helping refugees and victims of natural disasters, and offering spiritual and moral education for prisons and  soldiers. Correspondingly, ROC has constituted a set of authoritative regulations to administrate the work of social services, which explicitly set down four directors at different levels with specific responsibilities. It is worth to learn from the experience of management and organization in these social services; and on the other side, it as well deserves to further explore the issue on how to assess the moral essence and social value of religious charitable activities.【Аннотация】В настоящее время Русская православная церковь активно занимается благотворительной деятельностью и социальным служением. Появляются много православных благотворительных фондов и обществ. Эти милосердные работы широко касаются медицинской службы для больных и престарелых людей, борьбы с алкоголизмом и наркоманией, помощи детям-инвалидам и сиротам, борьбы с абортами и безработицей, работы с беженцами и с жертвами стихийных бедствий, морального воспитания заключенных и военнослужащих и т. д. Для этого РЦП выработала официальные управленческие принципы. Все эти опыты в социальной работе очень полезны для нас. С другой стороны, как рассматривать моральную сущность и общественную ценность религиозной филантропии, вот проблема, которую нам надо глубоко исследовать.
