The Trieste Crisis of 1945 is a major issue in the studies of the history of both international relations and World War II. Based on declassified archives, this article presents detailed review of the rivalry among the Soviet Union, Great Britain, the United States, and respective changes in their stances pertaining to the Trieste issue during the crisis. This article also explores the policies of Yugoslavia. During the crisis, an open political and military confrontation was provoked, with Britain, US and Italy on one side against Soviet and Yugoslavia on the other. Soviet and the US finally diffused the crisis with joint efforts, ensuring the alliance to last until the end of WW II, which also reflects the consensus between the two superpowers on the new world order in the Post-war era. What Soviet did during the crisis had bad impacts on Yugoslavian leaders, foreshadowing the subsequent deterioration of the Soviet-Yugoslavia relations.【Аннотация】Кризис в Триесте в 1945 г. является важным вопросом в истории международных отношений и изучении Второй мировой войны. Доступ к рассекреченным материалам разных стран помогает понять изменение в позициях и споры между СССР, Великобританией и США относительно вопроса Триеста, а также политику Югославии в этом вопросе. В этом кризисе Великобритания, США и Италия были с одной стороны, а СССР и Югославия — с другой, что привело к открытому политическому и военному противостоянию. В конце концов, СССР и США совместными усилиями разрешили кризис, гарантировав успешное функционирование Великого союза до окончания Второй мировой войны, что продемонстрировало достигнутый обеими странами консенсус в вопросе послевоенного устройства мира. Действия СССР в процессе кризиса подорвали доверие Югославии к Советскому Союзу, что заложило основу для дальнейшего ухудшения советско-югославских отношений.
