After more than twenty-year practice, the Central Asian integration has not achieved any substantive progress. What's even worse is that the existing regional cooperation has been replaced by competition and vigilance among the five Central Asian countries and the integration process has come into a standstill. Why this occurs? This article analyzes the influences of cultural factors of Central Asia on the Central Asian integration, and argues that the religious culture in macro-level, the political culture in meso-level, and the regional identity in micro-level together contributed to the stagnation of the Central Asian integration. The impacts of these cultural factors on the integration as following: firstly, the religious culture does not have enough regional cohesive force and could not supply the integration with required political thoughts; secondly, the political cultures of the Central Asian countries have been the impediment of the formation of regional interdependence, and thirdly, scholars in Central Asia lack necessary and serious academic researches about the integration and the people in Central Asia have not form a kind of regional identity. 【Аннотация】За 20 лет практики страны Центральной Азии не добились существенного прогресса в процессе региональной интеграции и сотрудничество между ними постепенно уступило конкуренции и предотвращении, попав в застой. В данной статье рассмотрены причины такого тупика с трёх точок зрения: макроскопического – религиозной культуры, среднескопического – политической культуры и микроскопического – региональной идентичности населения. Авторы считаются, что уровень региональной интеграции религиозной культуры в Центральной Азии не является высокой и не может предоставить политическую идею для реализации региональной интеграции; различные внутренние политические культуры препятствуют формированию взаимозависимых отношений между странами Центральной Азии; ученые стран Центральной Азии беднеют теоретическими исследованиями по региональной интеграции и среди населения отсутствует «Центральноазиатская идентичность». Эти культурные факторы совместно привели центральноазиатскую интеграцию в тяжелое застойное положение.
