Abstract

Bologna process is the most fundamental structural change of European higher education for centuries. In 2003, based on a wide range of considerations, Russia also joined in this plan. The overall development in Russia does not go on well in spite of some positive results, mainly due to the inactiveness of Russian education circle. Looking into Russia’s Bologna process will help improve the relevance and effectiveness of Sino-Russian education exchanges. There are many similarities and complementarities in Sino-Russian educational exchanges cooperation. Progress has been made in cooperative education, personnel exchanges and academic exchanges etc However, there still exist difficulties in mutual cognition and the quality of overseas students training, which requires focused solutions.
